There are three things that Kirk Ouimet wants to make clear: Mobile is king, Snapchat makes the best mobile ad products, and Snapchat leads by innovation. With over 166 million daily users, and over 3 billion Snaps created each day, Snapchat is the leader in mobile advertising. More than half of the top 100 advertisers have spent money advertising on Snapchat in 2017, including: Google, Starbucks, Pepsi, Netflix, and McDonalds. The question that Ouimet asks is, why isn’t your company taking advantage of Snapchat’s ad platform?

[Recap]: B2B Marketing on Any Budget - February 2017

For our February event we headed to the popular co-working space, Salt Mine. The event focused on strategies and tactics B2B marketers can employ for little to no money. Both presenters are local to Utah as McKay Allen hails from Ivanti (formerly LANDesk) as the Director of Global Digital Marketing while Chad Waite is currently the Marketing Manager at AvantLink. We loved both presentations and think any B2B marketer could try a few of the strategies or tactics mentioned in their presentations.

Jonathan started out his talk by discussing information. He said that even with all of the information available today, we either let that change us, or we go back to your old ways of thinking. It’s a challenge of life. With all of the information available to us today, we have a choice on what we accept.

Produce Your Authority: How to Create Video That Builds Brand Influence

Amy currently produces a YouTube series known as Savvy Sexy Social, which helps rising stars achieve greater social connections and increase brand awareness by promoting action, productivity and strategy in business and life. Amy’s journey to where she is today started with the idea to make a video for a wedding. As a bridesmaid, Amy decided that she would compile short videos of the bride’s friends wishing her congratulations along with videos from the bride’s past. When she played that Windows Movie Maker-made video at the wedding, Amy said, “I had their emotions in the palm of my hands for 5 ½ minutes”.
