Cory Henke, from Variable Media, joined us on July 15th, 2020 for an Utah DMC online event entitled, YouTube New Features: Tips & Tricks to Enhance Your Current Efforts.

YouTube has some awesome new tools to help you boost your video ad efforts. Cory based his presentation on the following three features:

1. Lead Form Ads
2. YouTube Creative Features
3. YouTube Performance Analysis

This month we had the pleasure of having Michelle Morgan, Director of Client Services for Clix Marketing, speak to all of us at Utah DMC. Another wonderful virtual event for the record books! Not only is Michelle super talented at ads-based marketing but she was also given the number one spot in the Top 25 Most Influential PPC Experts of 2020 from PPC Hero.

The purpose of Michelle’s webinar was to help attendees better understand how to leverage Facebook’s algorithm for better ad performance. This purpose was definitely achieved with all the great tips and tricks that she was able to provide.

This was a special panel event coordinated by our online events sponsor and friends at BrightTalk that was put together to talk all about virtual events.

The panel consisted of Daniel Waas of AppFolio, Darin Berntson of Utah DMC and Ryan Smith of SaltStack, and Morgan Cantrell of BrightTALK was our moderator.

Mason Bentley is a Managing Director for BASE Search Marketing, an agency specializing in white hat link building. Mason has gained most of his expert knowledge through trial and error. He has had a hand in every facet of the link building process and was able to walk us through how he has found the most link building success.

Duane Brown, founder of the company Take Some Risk, joined us for our June 3rd, 2020 Utah DMC online event to discuss the opportunity brands have to connect and engage with people through Snap Ads.

It was a lovely evening at the ZAGG building in Midvale and the room was full of energetic digital marketers ready to expand their knowledge in regards to PPC. The Utah DMC brought in local talent, Kyle Shurtz from Avalaunch Media, and Navah Hopkins, the Director of Paid Media at Hennessey Digital in Boston, MA.

We had a great time on Wednesday, January 15th as we spent the evening learning from some fantastic leaders in the marketing industry. Appropriately dubbed “All About Agencies”, SolutionReach provided the venue for the event which hosted  Jesse Semchuck, Director of Acquisition, from Traeger Grills and Jeff Allen, President of Hanapin Marketing.

The Utah DMC, or Digital Marketing Collective, invited members, students, and digital marketing professionals in Utah and the surrounding area to their monthly event this month to learn more about video marketing. The event, titled “Video Marketing in a Multi-Platform Era” brought Stephen Walter and Travis Chambers to the stage to share their insights, stories, and knowledge of working with video marketing to all those in attendance.
